Swap Meet. Shade, Tables, Chairs.. etc..TOMORROW Saturday Sept 21st
From: Mike Harrison via chugalug ------------------------------------------------------ A 5th email without the map image. This link may help: https://maps.app.goo.gl/que8T3DDgQDEKP9m7 Saturday 10-2pm at least. I'll be there early. I've also shared in LinkedIn, Facebook and DC423. Please invite anyone. I'm bringing the RV. It's full of stuff. Got some extra chairs, hope to park near the shade trees. There is a green grassy strip I'm setting up a table at.. They removed the picnic table a while ago. I have two boxes of stuff I'd like some cash (or trade) for.. The rest is literally free to a good home. Or at least a geeky bad one. Including a box of nice FLIRC rPi 3 cases, a few rPi variants, lots of weird cables, power adapters, a few keyboards, mice, a USB force feedback joystick.. a couple of Zaurus's.. a couple of monitors, at least 1 working Linux Lenovo laptop (maybe 2). I just purged my garage some of things I haven't touched in over a year (and found things I'd been looking for). I've heard there may be some Sun servers and other *nix exotica coming. Answers to obvious Q's: I'm well (well, considering, am a survivor). Making room for a new generation of "junque", 3D printing takes up some space, as do some geek weird side-business interests. Got no interest in "stuff"? Swing by and grab a chair and say hello. Visit Chatt*Lab Makerspace (I just became a member again)... Not going to make it? Don't send regrets.. plan and host the next one (and become President or Galactic Emperor?) in the process. --Mike-- (Claiming Minion as a title for this month).=============================================================== From: Ed King via chugalug ------------------------------------------------------ Me and my good friend Cash are on the way!
=============================================================== From: Ed King via chugalug ------------------------------------------------------ That was a great swap meet. Nice to see old friends, meet new friends, and get some toys. Thanks for all the cool stuff On Saturday, September 21, 2024, Ed King wrote:
=============================================================== From: Ben Bryan via chugalug ------------------------------------------------------ Big thank you to Mike and any others for organizing. Whoever had the Dell CRT monitor... you left before I could buy it. I can meet somewhere convenient if it's still for sale. Ben.
